All
contractors and professional consultants
engaged by The Greencore Group or
its subsidiary companies,
must hold insurance against third party liability,
accidental damage and negligence. The
Group regards two million pounds (UKP)
as the minimum level of cover for
general maintenance;
however, capital projects should reflect the full recovery
cost to the Group
and be assessed by the factory at the time of the project. Group
factories must ensure that this policy
is brought to the attention of all
contractors and consultants,
and that insurance policies are maintained for
the full period of the contract. The
Group expects its operational locations to appoint contractors and consultants
from a locally maintained and up to date approved list
(Please note 03.100.she
is not to be considered as an approved list).
This will be subject to periodic
